Bearing the designation PN 8366, this distributor serves as a drop-in solution for GM V8s utilizing the small cap distributor with a dual connector coil, commonly found in cars spanning 1987-1993 and trucks from 1987-1995.
Crafted with precision through CNC machining, the entire housing exhibits exceptional strength along with a visually appealing design. To enhance lubrication, an additional oil tract is meticulously machined into the housing’s bottom, directing oil straight to the cam and distributor gears. Internally, a polished steel shaft is guided by a sealed ball bearing, while an extra-long sintered bushing ensures stability. This 0.500″ shaft undergoes a QPQ coating process, enhancing friction reduction and corrosion resistance.
The distributor comes complete with a factory-style ignition module, facilitating a direct plug-in to the factory wiring. Triggering this module is the responsibility of a high-output magnetic pick-up. The ensemble is completed with a heavy-duty rotor and a red MSD cap featuring brass terminals, guaranteeing optimal spark delivery.
