Specifically tailored for street applications, MSD offers a choice between a 120 or 160 amp one-wire alternator. These alternators aren’t just built for extreme output at higher RPMs; MSD meticulously balances the current output to ensure your electronic components perform optimally during idle and lower RPM operation. The one-wire installation simplifies the setup, maintaining a clean and effective design.
Both the 120 and 160 Amp alternators boast a relocated charge post to the side of the housing, improving clearance to the block. Additionally, a pulley baffle is included to prevent any potential fan-to-belt issues, a common occurrence at high RPMs with lesser alternators.
