Description
The Adjustable Phaser Locks for the 5.0L Coyote Modular V8 Engines, recognized with awards and featuring a patent-pending design, offer full adjustability over the OEM phaser range of 50 degrees. Utilizing a stock timing set, phaser system, bolts with special plugs, and slotted degree plates, these locks are easily adjustable on the engine. They include a 4-crank degree (2 cam degrees) mark on the outer diameter for precise adjustment, enabling aftermarket race cams to be physically degreed and locked. This ensures ample piston-to-valve clearance and precise centerline control at extremely high RPMs under rigorous conditions. The locking is a requisite for compatibility with FAST™ XFI™, XFI 2.0™, and other aftermarket EFI systems.
