Crafted with Sprint cars in focus, the Pro-Mag 12LT is a remarkable 30% lighter than its predecessor, the original Pro-Mag, while maintaining the same exceptional power output. The compact housing has been ingeniously designed to sit one inch lower, enhancing clearance for fuel injection systems, and it features a band clamp mount for simplified timing adjustments.
MSD has introduced a dedicated cap and rotor for the 12LT series. The cap, made through injection molding with DuPont Rynite material, boasts high dielectric properties and outstanding strength. The rotor’s innovative design securely fastens to the shaft using a retaining bolt assembly and is also molded from Rynite.
Please note: A 12LT Generator cannot be upgraded to a 20 Amp Pro-Mag.
