Right out of the box, the EZ-TCU™ is fully configured and ready to roll – no tuning required. However, for those who crave personalization, the unit is also optionally fully programmable based on load, speed, and rpm. The FAST™ and TCI® engineers drew inspiration from the highly successful FAST™ EZ-EFI® Self-Tuning Fuel Injection System, crafting the EZ-TCU™ programming interface to be entirely intuitive. No specialized knowledge is necessary if you decide to customize your calibration. The EZ-TCU™ boasts real-time switchable calibrations, enabling multiple setups. Cruise to the track with one calibration and, with a simple button press, switch to a more aggressive setup for the race. The various shift modes include full manual mode, ideal for those using bump or paddle shifters.
Compatible with a wide array of popular GM transmissions, such as the 4L60E, 4L65E, 4L80E, and 4L85E, as well as the TCI® 6x Six-Speed Transmission, the EZ-TCU™ delivers maximum electronic control over shift points, shift firmness, and shift speed. The self-diagnostic feature ensures users of all skill levels can fully harness the capabilities of the EZ-TCU™. The comprehensive kit encompasses the transmission control unit, handheld unit, and wiring harness.
