The pick-up utilizes an advanced optical encoder, a departure from the OEM’s optical pickup style. This proven pick-up type ensures reliability and stability even under extreme RPM and challenging conditions. The rotor is securely bolted to a drive assembly, indexed to the shaft, and stabilized by a robust ball bearing assembly.
Once installed, you gain the unique ability to adjust ignition timing, making it the sole distributor offering timing adjustability! A convenient adjustment screw allows fine-tuning of timing up to +/-5°. The distributor features a fresh air vent and a reinforced mounting surface for the cap to prevent leaks.
