When you’re pushing your EFI Ford to produce significant power, the stock distributor shaft becomes a vulnerability in the engine’s performance. Addressing this concern, the Pro-Billet models offer an affordable replacement solution within a robust and aesthetically pleasing design.
Starting as solid billets, each distributor undergoes precision machining in a state-of-the-art Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine to craft a meticulously engineered housing. Inside, a sealed ball bearing positioned at the top of the shaft plays a crucial role in accurately guiding the oversized polished steel shaft across the entire rpm range. The shaft is further enhanced with a QPQ coating, providing friction reduction and corrosion resistance.
Pro-Billet Distributors utilize a stock-style trigger pick-up, accommodating factory connectors for straightforward installation. To upgrade, simply remove the stock distributor and secure the Pro-Billet MSD in its place. Each model comes equipped with a high-quality cap featuring brass terminals for optimal spark delivery, a heavy-duty rotor, and a specialized gear designed to complement factory camshafts.
